The Social Media Manager’s (SMM) key objective is to own and grow 88 Acres’s social media channels by creating content and driving following and engagement. The SMM will lead the planning and production of all social media content, posting and community management, ensuring all content and copy is aspirational and on brand. The SMM will take the lead on developing a monthly content calendar, implementing brand campaigns and executing content that aligns with the brand’s overall marketing calendar and performance marketing efforts and strategy. The SMM will collaborate with cross functional teams within the company on a daily basis and must be a team player. The SMM position requires a self- starter with exceptional attention to detail, a collaborative attitude, and a willingness to think outside the box. The SMM  will have the ability to react to changing business needs by modifying plans and adjusting strategies and deliverables effectively and efficiently.



  • Manage and oversee all social media posting for 88 Acres social channels including Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn. 
  • Develop social media strategy based on overall marketing objectives as directed by the marketing team. 
  • Create a content plan for daily feeds and story posts for products and to provide promotional support. 
  • Oversee community management and direct messages in an authentic 88 Acres voice, utilizing brand tone of voice. 
  • Bring new ideas on how to measure social media impact to ensure alignment to key objectives and sales goals. 
  • Coordinate and plan in house shoots for social media content. 
  • Collaborate with the performance marking team on paid media efforts. 
  • Drive following and engagement on 88 Acres social media platforms. 
  • Stay up to date with current social media trends to keep platforms relevant. 


  • Strong photography and content creation experience required, including a compelling portfolio of past work. 
  • Must have an existing network of talented content creators to collaborate with to create content. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail across all internal and external deliverables. 
  • Thorough understanding of current social media trends with proven success of developing and implementing successful social media programs that drive engagement and profitable growth. 
  • Ability to seamlessly and confidently coordinate and collaborate with cross functional teams and external consultants. 
  • Ability to create programs including processes, spreadsheets, calendars etc. 
  • Proven experience in developing fully integrated digital ecosystems in collaboration with various marketing initiatives. 


  • BA/BS degree in business/marketing or related field
  • 4+ years of social media marketing experience, preferably with consumer brands. 
  • Solid knowledge of marketing analytics 
  • Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination 


  • This position requires in office work time, with the flexibility to have a hybrid work schedule. This is subject to change based on company needs.
  • This position requires frequent sitting and reaching with hands and arms. 
  • Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area travel may be expected and needed for content creation.
