What kind of oil do you use in your Seed Butters?
All of our seed butters are made with organic cold expeller-pressed sunflower oil. While the seeds do contain natural oils, we found that the consistency is much improved by adding a small amount of oil to the blend.
How long is the shelf life for Seed Butters?
The shelf life of our Seed Butters is 12 months from the production date. Please check the packaging for the expiration date.
Where is the best place to store my Seed Butter?
We'd recommend keeping your Seed Butter in your pantry! If you live in a humid environment or your pantry gets a lot of sunlight, you might want to store it in the fridge to maintain the quality of the flavor.
Why is the oil separated from the butter?
We don't use emulsifiers in our Seed Butters which is why the oil can separate. All you have to do is give your butter a quick mix!
