What's healthy, kid-approved, delicious and covered in chocolate? This Banana Sushi right here! For a simple snack that kids and adults will enjoy equally, give this recipe a try. This recipe works well with any flavor of Seed Butter and any flavor of Seed'nola, so choose your favorites or mix-and-match.
You could also try a Make Your Own sushi station as an after school activity. Just lay out bowls of Seed'nola and Seed Butter, spreaders and banana halves. Kids can make their own (messy) creations and then you can slice them into sushi rolls once they're done. Does it get any cuter?
Ingredients
- 2 whole bananas
- 2 tablespoons 88 Acres Dark Chocolate Sunflower Seed Butter
- 2 tablespoons 88 Acres Pumpkin Seed Butter
- Seed'nola for topping
Directions
Peel each banana, but leave whole. Place on a cutting board or clean plate.
Carefully spread 2 tablespoons of Seed Butter (more or less depending on the size of your banana) on the top side of each fruit.
Sprinkle Seed'nola generously on top of each banana, pressing into the seed butter gently.
With a sharp knife, slice each banana into 1/2 inch rounds. Use chopsticks or your hands to enjoy.
