Like any parent, we don’t choose favorites - we love all our sauces equally. But if we were forced to choose… we’d probably go with this maple mustard. Salty, sweet, and punchy. Thick, smooth, and spreadable. Maple mustard: you have our hearts and a reserved place in our fridge forever, especially when accompanied by a large soft pretzel and ice-cold Kolsch. Prost!
- 1/2 cup Maple Sunflower Seed Butter
- Water to thin
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together Seed Butter and water until it reaches a thick sauce consistency and has turned glossy. Add the maple syrup, mustard, salt, and oil and stir to combine. Adjust the salt and mustard as needed.
